You forget when you live in the biking world that ordinary people don't understand and share your world-view. after all, to us it's a mint retro hardtail or a spanking new trail bike: to them, as they blast past in their Citreon, it's just another push bike.
Anyway, who knows what my neighbours thought when they took in a parcel for me while I was out... you could tell it had taken them some deliberation to arrive at the conclusion it was a slimline racing saddle and not some unspeakable fetish item packaged loose in a plastic bag.
I just assumed my Belle Air would come in a box...
I'm always astonished when the white envelopes form Deal Extreme marked "present" arrive without any customs or drug squad labels added.
I had some parts delivered from Holland that had been opened and resealed by HM Customs. The Ultegra Stis must have been a dissapointment.
