A friend has leant us a copy of a film they made of the Nativity play our respective daughters were in before Xmas.
It's on a Mini-DVD-RW disc, which I've never heard of before, but presumably there is no reason why I can't copy it to the external hard drive and then make our own copy on a standard DVD disc? Though not sure how long a 1gb file will take to copy.
Just thought I'd ask before I inadvertently wreck their disc/only copy ๐ณ

No worries to copy to HD if its an MPG, AVI whatever. If it's a proper VCD it might have to be ripped in someway.
You wont break anything.

just remember it's RW, so possible to overwrite it - don't accept any options such as format or save changes to the original files/disc
