Why is it so bad? Have tried the the Now TV box, the app on my TV and the BT YouView app. On all 3 the picture judders like a jelly. Other apps like Netflix and Prime can give me a smooth 4k picture.
Do you have the £3 a month 1080p upgrade?
IME it’s pretty cautious with its resolution setting, even with 100Mbps the first 3-4 seconds of viewing is like an 8bit computer game, but it soon jumps to 1080
Yep got the 1080p setting.
Paid upgrade to hd in 2020?! Where's the 4k? One of the reasons I've ditched now TV.
Works fine on my Apple tv

Technically NowTV is all HD, the basic is 720p the upgrade is 1080p.
The 4k is called Sky Q, I think it’s about £40 a month and I’m told there’s not exactly endless 4k output on Sky at moment.
I don't get chance to worry about picture quality due to the crashy app.
Watching it now and its shit. How do you get the upgrade?
Did the TV streaming services not back off quality to save bandwidth for subscribers?
Is it bogging down trying to upscale to 4k?
When we bought our tv. A modest affair. I watched a youtube video on set up and Spent 20 minutes in random menus turning things on and off and putting sliders in crazy places. We have have had a wonderful picture ever since
Council telly to watch on your 55" 'HD Ready' Polaroid TV that you fought Karen for in Tesco's on black Friday. Innit
