And to upset the purists (but then back in 1988 my otherwise exemplary goth/goff clothing did include a leather jacket with Tigger and a load of pink hearts painted on the back).

goth I bloody hate the label almost as much as the yanks referring to it as "death rock" and many years ago accusing someone of being a "goth" was fighting talk.
Strange how spook kids these days seem to like the label. 😀
