My BiL lives a few miles south of Chesterfield (Pilsey) and is currently with EE. He struggles with signal at home.

Anyone know if any other service is better around there ?

Thanks

Alfreton. The ofcom map suggests O2 but I was hoping someone could confirm on-the-ground so to speak.

He has no internet etc so wifi calling no use sadly.

Signal is crap round here, even for the TV. EE have been best for me, then Vodafone and O2 were worst by miles.

What kind of house is it and is the bad coverage on all networks? A lot of modern houses get poor indoor reception due to the oxides on double / triple glazing and the use of foil backed insulation.

If the EE reception is ok outside just use WiFi calling - it's on all recent iPhones and many other devices now - it basically does all the "phone" stuff using wifi instead of the phone network.

Ee by far the best around here.

EE works fine around Alfreton, as already said they do WiFi calling for when you are at home.
