Bond’s booked for the morning of the 30th.
163 mins run time, going to have to lay off the fluids to get through that 😂

Aren't the Bond movies just getting a bit dated now. Pretty much the same format each time.
Megalomaniac bent on some sort of domination, Bond saves the day.

That's been the case for 40 years. Some people like that. Some people don't. See also pretty much every other film franchise or long running TV show, bands, authors etc

Thanks for your contribution.

Looking forward to it. Hope that they don't bugger it up.

I read somewhere that they've re-shot scenes with phones as they were product placed and technology had moved on during the delay.

Milkshake on cornflakes for breakfast.

It's a slippery slope from that point onwards

OP, take a wide mouth drinks bottle with you, just in case.

Mostly, except from 'Casino Royal' perhaps? Which is basically following bond as a mark in a complicated financial Swindle...

I'm amazed it hasn't been delayed again. Top Gun has been pushed back to next year.

So, am I right in thinking that it's not actually clear whether Lashana Lynch's character is actually 007?

I mean in the trailers, M's line is "Where's 007?" and the next shot is her, so we're invited to make the connection but we don't know what the answer to his question is in the film...And during the conversation between Bond and her character, he asks if she's now a "00"  and she says "2 years now" but doesn't say any more than that...

I'm reading too much into it aren't I? 😂

I think the thread title is a joke. The film isn't really called "no time to pee" is it?

Well, this is looking good:

Me and Jnr have the Odean luxury chairs booked for Friday, I cannot wait for what is anticipated to be my best movie experience for a long time.

Yep, seems to be five stars in the vast majority of publications, very excited now for tomorrow night*

Even watched Spectre again last night to get in the mood, wasn't half as bad as I remember.

*only hitch is I have 5 miles of petrol left in the car and cinema is a 36 mile round trip.

*Slight spoiler*

The Guardian review, much as everyone suspected, confirms that Bond has retired and she has been assigned 007.

Jane Bond?

Laughs in small local independent cinema land, where we still get an interval and someone selling ice creams…

Wel jel.

I was only talking about this with The Girl at the weekend. Trying to explain to a 20-something about how cinemas used to stop films halfway through to change the reel, and a woman would come round with a torch and a tray of ice creams. She looked at me like I'd just landed from Jupiter.

I didn't mention how half the theatre probably had a fag on the go too. I'd likely have seen TILT flash across her retinas.

Yeah, but there was a non smoking section for the health Nazis, magically sealed off by the power of being a bit to the side of the smoking bit.

I think I've read somewhere that Bond had retired, she was assigned 007, then he comes back... e.g. from IMBD "His peace is short-lived when Felix Leiter, an old friend from the CIA, turns up asking for help..."

I guess we'll know after someone here watches it, I might now avoid this thread until Saturday...
