All the rads are fine.
the pipes into and out of the hot water cyclinder are hot, but the tank feels cool.
We have an immersion overide, and that heats the water.
Any ideas?

Problem with the diverter valve? Normally you can manually override these

If you can see a valve (about 6" x 3" x 3") in the boiler/tank cupboard with an inlet & 2 outlet pipes it may have a little silver lever which you can manually push across. If the boiler, or immersion aren't giving hot water, yet you are getting heating, I'd guess it's your valve, but what the actual problem with it would be an unknown - either knackered valve, or the electrical signal calling for it to change position probably.
