It's my understanding that it's due to the decongestant in it, which can cause rebound headaches from medication overuse.
A bottle of Night Nurse gives me about 7 doses. A cold usually lasts 7 days. I have never restricted myself to 3 nights.

When I worked 7 nights on the trot in the prison service I had it 7 mornings on the bounce, & I didn’t even have cold.

Thanks TJ. Kind of hoping that three days on it, one day off and then back on would be ok, as it provides a break from possible addiction.

Similar to binners my acid casualty mate would stave off the fear on a Sunday with a couple of vodka and night nurse martinis. Highly recommended.
