Interesting to read comments; each to their own I guess, and really just a case of the emperors new clothes for those buying these watches ... it's niche, and by comments on here, they seem to be loved or loathed in equal measures.
Bit like bikes really. Or cars. Or hi-fi's. Or computers. I could still be riding my BMX frm 30 years ago. Does the job eh?
Just thought I would bump this thread with a bit more fuel for the haters, and a bonus for you with this being a pilots watch with a UTC/GMT time zone display and the ability to change the time in one hour increments without the minute hand moving.
plus the date will also go back if midnight is passed if you were to fly back over the international date line.
I'm not a pilot and I do not regularly fly across multiple time zones and the date line. 😆
Single cuffs?!
Also, too many hot washes 🙂
its an unironed shirt left at the GF’s that i grabbed this morning . and thats not an office but a studio where i’m usually wearing double denim or similar london media tosspot attire.

Are you Doctor Who?
Surely you should have taken the photo at 10:10 or 13:50, not 13:35?
😉
These are my twopenneth (not my pics BTW-I can't work out how to do that):
The strap's a bit tired on the Sub, so it's on a black Zuludiver NATO strap for now.
I do cross many time zones and the duty watch is my Fenix 3
My other favourite is one of these:
Mine's on a grey Luminox NATO Strap

There are certainly watches around that cost a mind-buggering amount of money, and look like something you'd buy from a cheap tourist shop on Oxford Street, just look in some of the shops in Burlington Arcade in London. There are also expensive watches that are amazing examples of miniature engineering, and cost what they do because of the amount of time (ha!) that goes into the fine-tuning of the individual components and the assembly of same, in order to get the accuracy of time-keeping.
That is what makes them appealing and collectible, not the flashy bling external appearance of many watches that's designed to show off the great wealth and dearth of taste of the person wearing it. #wendyball
This is a display in Burlington Arcade: see the prices and weep!
