Thinking of popping over to see my brother this weekend in Runcorn, any recommended places to grab a meal around 5pm-ish on Sunday? Oswalds @ The Helter-Skelter in Frodsham looks nice on Tripadvisor?

Heathercliffe has been closed for 2 years, I'll run past in a couple of hours but I don't think you'll get any joy 🙂
White Lion in Alvanley is decent pub food. Helter has great beer. Hornsmill Helsby is the new kid on the block.

Helter Skelter still seems to be the best place in Frodsham for food.

...nope, builders still in. Helter's a fair shout. Bulls Head is another (my local) and people seem to like the food.
