Some people have loads of fans on Facebook and millions of followers on twitter, so...... What incentives would persuade you to sign up to a newsletter or follow somebody on twitter/Facebook?
Rough Rides give out free routes on twitter and Weekly World News send you loads of wacky stories on Facebook all for free.
I would like a free video or exclusive early access or even maybe downloadable routes…….
No incentives. I only 'friend' or 'follow' people who are in some way of interest to me, either as a musician, or an author, or otherwise having something to say that I find interesting.
Fb in particular I like when it's a musician or a band, as I'm generally communicating directly with them personally, as with Gemma Hayes, Aimee Mann, The Wondervillains, Daisy Palmer, (Goldfrapp's drummer)... Etc.
