Probably cheaper than buying one there.
If you have a decent bike now you'd be daft not to take it with you.
I was out there for 4 months a few years back and bike/outdoor kit is expensive.
Do coaches over there accept bikes as luggage?
I've been ok with every one I've used.
Just take your bike, you will only regret it if not.
Depends on bus driver, intercity will often stick a bike underneath for you

Still trying to make a decision on whether to take a bike but probably not unfortunatly. Can always rent or buy one out there for a couple of weeks.

Follow up question; for living out of the car living at this time of year is a bivi/tarp setup enough or would a tent be recommended?
