Why dont they feature cars by Ford, eg focus, puma, etc,

Toyota, lexus,

Peugot,some people actually buy them,

Hyundai, Kia, and Proton,

Vauxhall/Opel,

Saab, now bust,

Nissan/Renault,

Fiat,

and probasbly a few more coampanies who sell cars that people actually buy and drive.

Not all of us want to drive gas guzzlers, even though i do.

They are brilliant, I have read the first one.

The Top Gear of old did, then it turned more entertainment than car review/test.

If you want that sort of thing, watch Fifth Gear.

Because they are all frighteningly dull.

When is the penny going drop that TG isn't about "consumer advice on cars" and that it's about "entertainment" that's actually enjoyed by people of all ages and is also a very very profitable programme for the Beeb! There are endless endless other channels on tv, or plenty of other things to do while it's on. Go polish your helmet or something....

Personally, I'd much rather watch someone drive a Ferrari and dream, than see a Prius and be bored.

Looking forward to it. Realising it's not a travel special, but as a shorthand way of expressing my hopes, I'd like tonight to be more South America than India.

It way better than the alternatives on TV on a Sunday night.

Conversation?
Reading?

I can do that any evening, and Thursday, Friday and Saturday are evenings I generally put asside for music listening. So there.

Um, the Focus has been around for years, and you do know the Puma went out of production around 2002, don't you?

Loving the talk of watching something "you can switch your brain off to" or "brainless entertainment".

What are you guys doing on a Sunday that exhausts your brain? Astrophysics?

Good show, hope there's more of that this series, less putting cows on the car roof etc. ๐Ÿ™‚

Shame Clarkson felt it necessary to brown nose Will.I.Am

As one of the "haters" I really enjoyed that.

Obviously had to fast forward through the news and the star/car bit but otherwise very enjoyable.

The Imola bit was great.

Jolly good show tonight, 3 cars i'd be lucky to get in matchbox form but i don't give a monkeys.

If you don't like it, fine....i've got the rest of the week to read books and discuss fine wine, tonight i want to stare at gearboxes and brake calipers, sue me. Who knows, i may even look at some boobs later and play Call of Duty, it's something to do with freedom of choice. If you don't like it don't watch it, nobody is forcing you, just stop moaning that other people do.

What a waste of an hour! I cant think of a single redeeming feature in the whole show...

Honestly if I was a tax payer & not sat in my Cayman Island Villa right now I would be seething with anger!

Clarksons a a complete plum with eyebrows that Emmet Brown would be proud of..

And the moaning starts even before thr programme is aired...

I take it that you won't be tuning in, then?

I haven't watched it yet, I went by the link in the trailer towards the start of the thread.

Fastest Formula 1 Racing Lap of Imola - 1:25.5

Clarksons Fastest lap of Imola (in a production car) - 1:59.1

Now that's pretty impressive I reckon !!?
