I need a new monitor, nothing to flash, 20"+. Where's a good place to get one, anybody seen any good deals? They all seem to be widescreen, can't really see how that helps for work stuff. Are there any benefits I'm missing?

Widescreen is fantastic for work stuff, it means that I can see my payslip properly online 🙂

I got one from dell. Wide screen means that you can have two windows open side by side more easily.

Ebuyer are usually very good - what you can get for £100 these days is astounding.

It's worth seeing if your local Comet/Currys/PC WOrld has anything on offer, I saved £20 buying from a store when I needed one, compared to any online offers I could find.

http://www.morgancomputers.co.uk/c/490/Monitors-TFTs/ often have discounted ones.

Im using an Acer 22" widescreen one as my primary screen and it's been good.
I really must replace the old Ilyama prolite that I use for my second screen.... pitch black compared to the bright Acer
