Its been about 8 years since watching that programme, I did revel in his tirade at the Conservative MP yesterday morning when interviewing him about the disaster at MayBots vote outcome.
Didn't spot any Alan Partridge references though, can’t be the same bloke can it??

It's all a sham. They are both actors in an undeclared semi-pantomime. The whole show plays around clickbaity pseudo-talking points of the day lifted from redtop red-rag rabble-rousing bolx. It's basically a soft-on version of a youtube clickbait video with the comments-feed played out on TV.
Morgan plays the put-upon anti-pc chauvinist 'alpha' character in the guise of an overgrown schoolboy, while Reid plays the 'reasonable feminist' in the guise of a tutting sex-symbol in the red figure-hugging dress that Piers' fans love to hate.
The fans champion Piers as the 'anti-PC White Western Male' fighting the uppity, 'politically-correct'female/serpent at his side. They usually enlist a second female/serpent to make it look like a harder fight. George vs The Dragons
Although the Morganites would of course not-so-secretly love to 'have a crack at that'. Second-fiddle rules.

Episode generally was very good, but the ending stepped it up to another level.
watched the 3rd one last night. ita bloody brilliant now, really hit its stride. had to rewatch so many parts as its hard to take it all in, the little facial expressions, his cracking knees, everything. its gold

it's such simple comedy but the structure of the joke and the timing is just perfect.
Very good episode, the delay with the reporter in America had me in pieces when she stopped doing it with the female presenter. Very funny.
It's ace. I'm thoroughly enjoying it.

As for him looking too young - I just assume he's meant to be wearing daytime TV levels of slap. 🙂
Martin Brennan was excellent. It's funnier the 2nd time around.

Some of the supporting characters are superb. Joe Beazley. 3 minutes of genius.
