Both my numberplates have seen better days, so pre-empting a potential MOT failure I thought I would be organised and change them beforehand.

Does anyone have any experience of buying online and any recommendations or is Halfords/local motor factor a better bet?

Are they even legal online, I can't see how they would check my V5?

TIA 🙂

Last couple of times I've had to produce the V5. Motor factor was half the price of Halfrauds.

Used this company many times and had a first class experience, delivery is very quick as well.

Pleased to hear your good experiences, and a bit cheaper than Halfords too which helps as I'm only after a standar plate, none of this fancy nonsense.

The online ones are not illegal. Well, not in the country where they're made anyway. Which isn't the UK.

So you're saying they're not legal in the UK, but are in the county in which they are made (whatever country that is)?
