Hi chaps,
Netflix has started to suddenly become slow, buffering every five minutes. It was fine a few weeks ago, but for the last week or so its been a PITA.
Download speeds are good generally, iPlayer through the same device is fine on HD with no buffering.
I've tried a few devices and changed the playback settings from auto to medium, to stream at a constant speed.
Anyone else having issues? As it feels like a server issue not a client issue.
Cheers
Ricks
Nope, fine here.
My interweb isn't working, virgin media in glasgow. Having to tether from my phone the now.
Are you using Google's/Open DNS? It can cause a problem with Akamai which Netflix uses
I haven't used it in a few weeks but it was suffering from dropping out of HD while watching House of Cards. was happening fairly often.
didnt think it was local or my connection as speeds were rock solid (100mg line with virgin) and using it via TiVo so not even using normal internet bandwidth (separate modem in the TiVo box).
Fine for me over a VPN (local programming on Netflix is a bit haphazard)
Fine for me last night.
Nope, but free. New email address, new free month. Result.
You really have that much time on your hands? ๐
Netflix works fine on our smart tv, then my son turns on his laptop................
