I am looking at transiting Stansted airport, unfortunately as it's two Ryan air flights they are not connectors. So if I land at 12.25 will I have time to catch a flight at 13.55?

There should be no immigration check on arrival, walk straight out with hand baggage, just security going back airside. The alternative is six hours sitting in Stansted which is ok if not ideal. Thoughts?

Unlike a single ticket booking between partner airlines, Ryanair won’t GAF if their inbound is delayed.

Provided it’s not during school holidays I’d go for it.

I’ve flown in/out of Stansted 3 or 4 times this year and twice within the last 3 weeks, last 2 times in the car within 20 minutes of landing, once with luggage, once without.

Though make sure to book a seat near the front of the 1st flight.

It's worth a gamble. Ryanair are hardly ever late. They add a chunk of time to flight time so usually arrive "early". It good marketing.

There are gates further away that will eat up some of that time, so it depends on how lucky you are. I tend to find it quick to get around though (not a frequent traveller through it really though).

Probably ok with hand luggage, I wouldn't risk it if waiting for a bike at the oversized bit but you should be ok

IMG_5704.jpegIMG_5700.jpegIMG_5701.jpeg I’d risk it at Stansted, if only to avoid staying in that hell hole any longer than necessary.

Back in the day it was a bright a breezy quite nice place to be.

As jimmy says though, try to book a seat near the front so you can get off quickly and hope they don’t put you on a stand that requires bus to the terminal as the last time (easyJet) that happened to me, the bus took us to the train station exit, so you would need to go back through security to get airside.

Are there even transit routes at Stansted? I’d expect to the only route to another flight is out security and back in again. Internet suggests this is the case.

That's been my experience; I did it on a Friday night and security wasn't too bad so it worked OK for me

Thanks all I think I might chance it, front seat on plane, book security fast lane. The thought of 6 hours in Stansted is not particularly appealing.
