New to me car, picking it up next Friday. The number plate starts SH12 ...... is this good or bad?

Good. If it's SH12 IMP you can put the 2 on the squint to make an R with the 1, then that will say SHRIMP, which is bait for whales, which are a less cool type of shark.

Cars in the Lancaster area will have the Preston prefix (PE or PN).
I'm thinking of getting a new car but don't know if having it start with PE15 or PN15 is bad or could be worth a few bob.
