... instead of myself applying for a renewal contract, which this time would be a more expensive contract, my wife applied for the contract. Would PlusNet be able to offer her a 'new customer' deal? or as its at the same address would they just count it as a continuing contract and hit me with the higher charges.
Any other good deals around at the moment?

same address, same name (I assume)... think they'd see past that one - you could always try though!

Or just threaten to switch suppliers unless you get a "new contract" deal again?
