[Closed] my batteries in my camping lantern have leaked - it won't work - why?

Old batteries leaked all over my nice (not any more though) camping lantern. 😳

New batteries and a clean up of the terminals but it still won't work. 😥

Any solutions or chemicals that will shift the corrosion and let the thing work again?
