Theres no better live band IMO. He plays guitars with Kaos pads in them which is pretty cool as well

I am still trying to work out if that is an amusing back-handed compliment.

they do what they do very well. They are kicking ass here. bit of pomp n circumstance, bit of melodrama, proper good live band.

Don't panic, Escape from New York is starting on ITV. Goes well with a Muse night.

I could think of a 1000 people I would rather listen to than Zane 'I have a monotone voice' Lowe and Jo 'I also have a Monotone Voice' Whiley!

Despite growing up in Teignmouth I have to say that Muse bore me to tears.

They're undoubtedly very competent but have the feel of a band that think they're bigger and more significant than they really are. Neither interesting or inventive, just dull stadium rock. Having the Edge on stage just sums it up. U2, dear oh dear....

In my humble opinion the only modern bands worth watching are Doves and SFA but that's just for me.

Doves, rubbish are you sure? On what basis? Go and buy 'Some Cities' and then see them live. You might just change your mind.

Come on, SFA are far better than just OK!

I didnt know who it was when i turned the tv over.. thought "radiohead" too and waited to find out who it was.. watched one more track and turned it over. ended up questioning if i liked what i was watching or was it just the same old thing repeated. couldnt and wouldnt get into them. Its been played at work for hours and nothing caught my ear.

so i suppose its a case of going back to stuff i listened to 15-20 years ago all over again. am i getting old? recommend me something ear catching. havent heard much over the years gone by since then.. so open to suggestions.
