my mouse has hovered over the play button of that youtube vid several times now and I don't know whether to press.
I'd highly recommend not! I squealed!! 😳
My flatmate did similar in the pub a couple of years ago; it seems the plate that he'd got in the same arm from another recent break focussed all the force to a spot on his humerus and back to surgery he went. He's got some really ugly arm scars...
A charitable interpretation, IMHO. Seems like a predatory and intimidating ephebophile, who has harassed 100s of young men in the NW. Just his method of, er, gratification is so comical that he's an internet joke.I think the problem for him is the help he needs seems to be outside the scope or anyone that would help him. He seems to know he shouldn't do what he's doing, and he doesn't seem to have ill-intentions, but he doesn't seem to be able to stop himself either. But he's so unique in his drive and MO that someone trying to help him presumably doesn't know where to start.
Agree with you and others that the purple Ali is real! moment was unbelievable. Milestone of the internet.
I suspect that had his victims been female rather than male the law would have dealt with him much more harshly.
Pop or slash?
That article goes with a BBC3 short documentary which is available on iPlayer. Really weird stuff but worth a watch if you found the article interesting.
This is the reason why I don't go to the gym.
Well, either that or I'm a lazy bugger. One of the two.
WTF? just googled Purple Aki. The guy has some serious issues and needs help, god knows what kind of help though. Maybe just let him hang around at the World's Strongest Man qualifiers. At least they can tell him to bugger off without feeling intimidated. I now live in the North West, so glad I'm built liked a racing snake that's gone slightly to seed. Half freaked out and half feel pity for him.
On the actual thread topic I love no necks. They are my favourite body builder species. Never understood form over function when it comes to muscles.
