i was banned for a thread on the sexual act that dare not be named but originated in turkey i believe. the banning was handled very nicely though i had a lovely email explaining why and it suggested i stick to STW in the future, i was registered as rocketdog though, not masquerading as a woman

Just thought I'd log in and talk gun stuff...

The military in the UK primarily use the cheapest stuff possible unless it's for specific application such as sniper work or in a plane/hostage situation.

Most of the ammunition is simple FMJ for the service weapons.

As for the comment about the police and military not aiming to kill, that's not true. They always aim to take out whoever is threatening life. No point firing if you're not going to try and kill them.

As a bit of a addition to this the Military police are now issued with a HK that uses a special 4.6MM round specifically for penetrating body armour, no need to do that unless you intend to kill someone.
