My letter from GTCS begs to differ. It states 270 days, a full year.
mrs_oab's experience was not accepted in 2009 when she applied.
The rules have now changed.
However she is now outside the 5 years ago maximum for experience as it is 2013...in 2009 however she was within the 5 years.... grrr

So why can't she do the 60 days probation(on short term)? Seems that GTCS are confusing themselves.
Are the following true:
She is/was registered in England?
She has experience of teaching in the past two years?
More than 270 days?
She has been doing short term contracts in scotland?
Why is her experience not accepted? With a relevant teaching degree (I assume BEd or PGCE) she can register as probationary then go down the 60 days route.
The question is why is she not allowed to but is still allowed to do short term contracts?

Just read one of you relies above, ask why she cannot go down the 60 days probation route.
