Want to move my itunes content from laptop to external hard drive. How do I go about it please.
Easy. Drag the folder with all the music onto the external, then redirect iTunes to look at the new location. It will probably bring up a box asking you to do that when you fire it up, as it won't be able to find any music where it expects to.
Moved all my iTunes libary over to the external but iTunes doesn't seem to pick up from the new location. Any suggestions? Thanks.
mine done that too...ive never been able to sort it...mind tyou ive also wiped mine by accident...twice.
have you tried
edit>preferences>advanced>
then change the itunes media folder location to the new library location?
I keep trying to change the location iTunes is looking as said above but nothing happens.
