So a recently renovated and reopened cinema was showing Night Of The Hunter (Robert Mitchum, 1955), and being a big noir fan, off I went and highly enjoyable it was too.
But check this - coming soon - Brief Encounter, Brighton Rock and, get this, CASABLANCA. Have I died and gone to black and white heaven? yes if they follow up on their promise of Lord Of The Flies.
Does it get better?Oh yes. Colour films too - remastered The Good The Bad And The Ugly and For A Few Dollars More. Awesome, I'm gonna move to Aberfeldy.

Jealous!

I do love a bit of noir. Bogey, of course, but look for some Jean Gabin as well.

Great to see people putting this on a big screen.

I had black and white bogeys last time I visited London.
