Bought Tank Girl on DVD (had it on VHS but dumped all those when we moved last year).

Just settling down to watch...

Sahara, sort of Indiana Jones lite with Matthew McConaughey and Penelope Cruz. Actually i like alot of McConaugheys films, this used to be an embarrassment but it has gotten easier to admit in recent years. Not saying it is acceptable to admit, just easier!

Muppet Christmas Carol

Thats not a guilty pleasure thats a modern classic!

I can never turn off Roadhouse. I don't really like the film - but it's compelling in its awfulness.

Dune - the David Lynch version. Absolutley besotted with it when I was about twelve, and I'm still prepared to watch it now even though I'm plenty old enough to realise how bad it is. Especially some of the acting (Sting!!)

Tank girl, Starship Troopers and Roadhouse are all great. How about Disney Aladdin? It's ace but I'm ashamed. Not a fan of children's films as a rule.

+1 Boorman's Excalibur. It's a great film, dated or no. Saw it as a youth, remember very well that Helen Mirren was smoking in it.

Transporter series.

3 was ok in my opinion, it was 2 that I struggled with more.

Big fan of the Stath.

Cliffhanger

I signed up for climbing lessons after that film! When the instructor had us all make introductions, we were supposed to say what had inspired us to take up climbing. Cliffhanger had been out for all of two days at that point, and I had seen it in the cinema, so that was my answer. It caused no end of mirth.

Old classic horror movies.

Other areas:

Enter the Dragon (Bruce Lee 1973?)

Star Trek movies.

Much ado about nothing (directed by K.B. 1991?)

Tank Girl was great. As good as I remember, and great 90s soundtrack.

Excalibur is a properly great film, as is Starship Troopers.

I'll add Sky Captain And The World Of Tomorrow to my list...

An affair to remember, followed by when Harry met Sally.
Notting hill (I can quote it for heavens sake!).
Time Bandits...utterly daft but hold a special place for me.
Oh and Iron Giant...but only because it gets dusty at the end for me.

An officer and a Gentleman, it gets a bit dusty at the end for me every time, must be the cardboard packaging in the factory.
