I've just been cleaning the curtains and have discovered quite a bit of mould on the rear, probably due to the amount of condensation at the moment. I can't bleach them, so anyone know of any products to clean them properly?

Is ironing hairy curtains feasable?

It's hard to know where to start with such great material.

I can give you one...

But it tends to be mildew, and that's about as permanent a stain as you can get.

I'd just wash them, TBH. In the washing machine, or by hand in the bath.

If they're 'made to measure' (mostly handsewn) do not wash them.
Instead ask at a high quality specialised dry cleaner for advice.

If they're 'ready made' out of the bag type, follow washing instructions.

You can take out the linings and replace, costly but saves money in the end.
