Occupants of car are ****s of the highest order, regardless.

I like the way he hooted as well. ๐Ÿ˜†

I think there is some law against it though.

I think Nutt's point is that that could have gone horribly, horribly wrong

What a t*sser.

Having said that, you'd have to be pretty dumb to be stood at that bus stop, next to that lake, and not think that some ass-hat would plough straight through it and drench you.

Er, Me? At least never deliberately - sometimes road conditions dicatet you have to drive through puddles, though. Doing it deliberately is driving without due care and attention, innit. She was paying attention but not driving with care for other road users (yes, pedestrians are road users)

So - to recap:

The bus stop wasn't "full" of children.
The car doesn't crash into anything.
The film is for the faint-hearted.
It wasn't a man that was driving.
It happened 3 years ago.

Years ago I was walking along the prom in Blackpool and a group of guys in an XR3 i convertible with the top down splashed a couple and absolutly soaked them! The car got caught at a set of temp traffic lights approx 50 yds away and a bloke who witnessed it pulled a plastic bag out of his pocket, scooped up some water from the puddle and ran over to the car and emptied it over the driver!!!
Priceless ๐Ÿ˜†

There'd be plenty of overtime for that firing squad.

99% of what's on youtube is crap.

Now that is funny! Dads can be the biggest ****s going. I remember mine actually denied I existed when I rang reverse charges to get a lift home once. I could hear the operator talking to him and in order to get out of accepting the call and ultimately picking me up he actually said he didn't have a son to the operator!! lol

I think a lot of people these days have a very similar mentality, taking cheap shot liberties, is the only accomplishments they will ever have.

And if the bus stop is by a big puddle?

Take a few steps to the left or right?

Buses aren't like those trains on the new bit of the Jubilee line with barriers & doors......they can stop in a slightly different position if need be.

A london cabbie did that once, he swerved into a puddle at the bus stop then moved back out to the usual cabbie lane (half in the bus lane, half in the road.) He got caught in traffic at the next junction, I ran after him and flagged him down, when he wound the window down, i spat a mouthful of water through the open window. He wasnt amused.

Is it an urban myth that you can be done for driving without due care and attention if you do that?

Someone dig out the old woodpecker advert...

Most of the bus drivers round here splash you when you're waiting at the bus stop next to a puddle.

BAN PUDDLES! BAN BUSES!

did you warn them about the Tsunami, the WTC, 7/7? Tell to warn the cockle pickers. Tell Steve Irwin to be careful.

Tell them! warn them! You have had wonderful opportunity. I hope you didn't squander it. You could have save so many lives!!

It's Rule 144 for those that seem oblivious.

144
You MUST NOT
drive dangerously
drive without due care and attention
drive without reasonable consideration for other road users
