Can anyone recomend any schools in the Reading area?
Haven't ridden in years and only took my CBT when I was 16, so that's run out, so need somewhere that does CBT, training, test and direct access (I don't want a superbike, but can be arsed fannying arround with restrictors).

I'd try popping into your local motorbike dealership and ask for recommendations (many of them now have their own training companies as well).
Once you've done it, look online for police motorcycle training to find your local force that operate it and sign up with them as they have just started doing the 2 day courses for free. Well worth a go.
