But I'm happy to see Ben Affleck and Matt Damon added to the list of shame.
Keanu Reeves isn't over-rated as an actor, he is not rated at all.
Nobody thinks he is any good.

Al Pacino's early stuff was brilliant though - compare his performance in the Godfather with the lazy, shouty stuff he does these days. It's a shame.
Biggest over actor, as per title of thread - Nic Cage, hands down. Look up [i]Nic Cage losing his shit[/i] on YouTube for conclusive proof. Awesome.
Most overrated actor? I'd say that big obnoxious Australian that was in Gladiator.

What about those American 'comedies' like Friends and others? The actors in those could be accused of overacting and being vastly over rated. In the case of that Jennifer aniston creature, being over rated on looks, too.

weird how I agree with most of the above mentioned actors (except Gervais who's God), yet I still find all of them watchable!
Tom Hanks for me, totally over rated, but still find him bearable.

Destined! maybe, but died before he achieved them so being destined doesn't count. Not seen brokeback, but his joker was a mess and only a claimed because of his death. He has been in films I have enjoyed, but nothing special about his performances, his parts could have been played by many actors to the same standard.
