Apparently the town of Didcot is the closest to the average lifestyle, opinions and experiences in the UK.

Having been to Didcot, this explains a lot about the UK just now.

"Most people live in a bubble whereby their experiences in life are heavily influenced by the area they live in and the people they interact with."

And thats exactly why I moved to the city. Couldn't stand small town life.

Most people live in a bubble whereby their experiences in life are heavily influenced by the area they live in and the people they interact with.

Surely that's all, not most?? Don't some just want to make their bubble a bit bigger?

Leicester is unrepentantly average

Leicester definitely bats well above its average. Sport wise it's right up there, Leicester City and Riders winning the league. Tigers won the LV cup the other day.

Mayor Steve Connel called the findings "tremendous".

So being average is a good thing is it?

Mayor Steve Connel called the findings "tremendously average, a real win for the middle of the road. Though disappointingly, of course, we'd have preferred to have been there or there abouts rather than actually winning. Still, you win some you lose some.".

Allegedly.

**I'm from Leicester**

I think Leicester is well above average actually. It just doesn't shout about it, and has kind of been in the shadow of Nottingham for years.
It's Extremely multi cultural.
Has 2 universities with extremely good specialisms.
Some great sports teams. Tigers are still the most successful rugby union team in the country.
It has a castle and the first parliament was held there.

Oh nearly forgot the king Richard thing as well...

And yes it's a city as it has a cathedral.
