Following on from thr Wild Garlic salad, and the dandelion bhaji/fritters:

its now a glut of [url= http://www.foragingguide.com/mushrooms/Fairy_Ring_Champignon.html ]Fairy Ring field mushrooms[/url] off the common.
Will dry some of these for use later ina sauce, but for lunch today, a bit of parsley, some butter and on toast.

well if you like eating granite then there's plenty of that round here.

But with temps barely above 5 C and the daffs still in bloom there's not much edible out there yet - except granite or grass

What have you been foraging lately?

I find popping down to Tesco satisfies all my foraging needs.

Too much reading the Guardian Stoner - it's not good for you.
