Left the window open in the car and it got flooded, is there some kind of magic sponge, pads you can buy to soak up the water?

Yes I am an idiot 😳

Vacuum then throw a couple of bags of silica gel in there. Then vacuum again. Repeat as necessary. 😆

soak the standing water out with a sponge/tea towel/ newspaper etc. Then leave a broadsheet newspaper in the footwell to soak up any in the carpet over a day or two.

Might be worth putting a bowel of salt out as well else you'll get moisture on the inside of your windows and a foisty smell!

I used a wet and dry hoover in my girlfriends car - it had a failed door seal so it had been accumulating water over a long time. Then a day or so later hoovered it again. Then sat a dehumidifier in there for a night, with a tea towel sealing the gap in the window where the cable went in.
