Hi all, hoping for a little advice here!
I'm looking to get a bike rack for my girlfriends Cooper S and I'm struggling a little!
First option for a tow ball is wiped out by the center exit exhaust.
Second option for roof rack is impossible due to a long-term shoulder injury so she wouldn't be able to get her bike onto the roof if alone.
Thirdly, the spoiler on the top of the tailgate and minute panel gaps makes it a bit of a nightmare to use a normal 'hook on' type of rack.
So, any experience of what works?

We had a last model (55) Cooper S Checkmate (trying to remember if there was a spoiler or not...you'll have to google for standard spec images). A Saris Bones worked best for us. I'm thinking we were able to run the hooks under the spoiler but could be talking out my arse. 🙂
EDIT: for minute panel gaps, you can use toggles instead of hooks I believe.
Hadn't even considered the Saris racks, are they any good?
I think a friend has one so may give that a go!
They're probably one of the best for cars like yours. They also work well with that flat bit that sticks out at the tailgate.
