I saw Empirion do a set at a Festival in Bradford last year.

It was a little bit dull and looked like two bored accountants sat at their laptops ๐Ÿ™‚

Only a short intro video but these guys were incredibly entertaining:

Being a southerner we didn't see that much of the man like Sasha, but he did show up at the Drum Club one Thursday evening and his mixing was just on another level.

He seemed to play stuff we didn't hear from anyone else either, heavy but with a real light touch at the same time.

This is the closest match I can find to my hazy memories (snowballs that night I think)...

Chakaping, that was a nice article, so true. Something about all the comments after such tunes allows us to relate to them even though we may not have had the same direct experiences (although I reckon I did date and eventually marry one of the best looking ladies in my town - divorced now!)

The article makes me think of us, as old men, still sitting listening to this stuff on youtube and whether that will be the case. My answer is of course it is as I often think back to what someone said a couple of years ago to me..........WHEN WE GROW OLD IT IS ONLY OUR BODY THAT AGES, WE REMAIN THE SAME WITHIN

Yep, they could be surprisingly funky eh?

My personal fave of theirs...
