I am due a new company car later this year (trade as a partnership so BIK not an issue). Currently have an XC60 but quite like the idea of a 7-seater next time around for family reasons. Both the Mercedes and the Volvo are within my budget (£350 a month max) and both look good on paper but I was wondering if anyone has any experience of either (I appreciate the GLB hasn't been around long)!
When my wife was looking for a new car we tried all the 7 seaters including the Mercedes GLS... for me the Volvo is simply light years ahead in terms of interior design and comfort, the space inside for passengers and luggage is really good. Also the 2.0 litre four pot does a pretty good job (coming from a former V8 driver, thats something)
This is the GLB, NOT the GLS (which is way out of my budget).
the GLB is significantly smaller than an xc90, I'd be surprised if the rear seats were big enough for anything other than toddlers

Yeah I know it is (which is part of the draw of it over the XC90 TBF). We don't particularly need a bigger car, we would just find having 7 seats very useful.
