Bagged one at a reasonable price. What memory card would you recommend? Size and speed?

How can we tell you how much storage you need?

Speed wise i haven't found any difference between my 45mb/s ones and the 95mb/s ones.

Get a branded card from a reputable supplier. There are many, many counterfeit cards knocking about which will eat your data. (Genuine) Sandisk are good.

Life's too short to faff about with dodgy SD cards.

Sandisk. There is a sweet spot in terms of price and speed that was Extreme 32 last time I bought one. No doubt it is higher now!!

Your camera should suggest a speed requirement for the card. They are numbered 1/2/3/4/5 I believe. 4k requires a very speedy card.

which version have you got?

So long as you go for a fast branded card you should be OK, though even reputable own-brand are fine. I use 7dayshop.com for memory cards, have used several brands inc their own and they've all been good. Think the last own brand one I had from them was actually Toshiba manufactured.

They are numbered 1/2/3/4/5 I believe.

They have a 'class', usually printed on the card as a number inside a letter 'C'. Generally to be taken with a pinch of salt though, some manufacturers play fast and loose with their categorisations.

For size, depends on what you are doing with it. If just using JPEG, then you don't need much. But if shooting in RAW, or recording HD video, then worth going for something bigger. 32GB or 64GB are cheap enough anyway.

For speed, if using high speed burst modes, or video, then worth getting a fast one. Look for the UHS speed rating, or 'U' symbol. Fastest is currently U3, that is 3 times as fast as Class 10.

+1 for a Sandisk, from a reliable source. MyMemory are fine.

got the Mk1

Cool, in that case there is no 4k video so no need for the absolute fastest card. Is just get a class 10 card from 7dayshop. Always been fine for me for videos and fast burst.
