Some jobs ask for access to your medical records as part of the acceptance process. I am guessing it is to make sure you are not a druggy or mad man.
Anyone come across this before?
Are they allowed to do it?
Would this make you wary about sharing info with your doctor?

Increasingly difficult for employers to do this due to discimination legislation.
Normally health insurance companies would want it but not share with employer.

I've just got a new job that involved a drug and alcohol test, and a medical.
I'm going to be working in an office so don't see the reason for the medical, but I think it's just company policy.
I don't know my doctor really either, so I'm wary of sharing with them full stop.
