I have an old laptop that is pretty much used for i-tunes and dead interesting history lessons.I will never be on the net with it so I tried to remove the expired mcafee.I used the add/remove programs on the control panel. So why is it still in the icons on the bottom right, and frequently disturbing me by popping up and inviting me to renew my sub?

you need to visit the mcafee site and download some software to get rid of it properly.
