Exorcist on the yellow coloured background
Manhattan for the first one? Man, hat, tan??
[s]Well the bonus is green mile.[/s]
That'll teach me to read the post properly.
6th is "lost in translation"?
Surely it's more of a lost in a loop or iteration though?
Green one, bottom left is Transformers.
4th one might be Inception?
Top right is Joan of Arc?
Edit: beaten by glenh ๐
7 - Star Wars
8 - Exocist
Surprised the nerds haven't got 7 yet ๐
EDIT: take a bow CaptJohn ๐
5. the odd couple?
4th- xXx?
Bottom right - absolute power?
4th one - the Cube?
1. Manhattan
2. Joan of Arc
3.
4. Inception
5. The Odd Couple
6. In The Loop
7. Star Wars
8. Exorcist
9. Transformers
10. Absolute Power
6. the loop runs 10 tens so "how to lose a guy in 10 days"?
In the loop?
Mr Rubble. Good guess, I think it fits better than the actual solution...
EDIT. Nick has it
I thought Star Wars, but couldn't figure out how that would link to star in mathematical terms. But of course, it represents a star topology.
I just seen light sabers.
Anyone still trying to get 3, or should I post the answer?
Lord Of The Rings?
It's a bit vague this one, I'd never heard of the film tbh
Open Range?
Can someone give us a clue? Like what does the diagram mean?
We have a weiner!
1. Manhattan
2. Joan of Arc
3. Open Range
4. Inception
5. The Odd Couple
6. In The Loop
7. Star Wars
8. Exorcist
9. Transformers
10. Absolute Power

Ok so on that link:
1) The matrix
8) Beauty and the Beast
I too was a fan of the Euler dingmath (see what I did there?) ๐
Oh the link,
1) The Matrix
2) Signs
3)
4) Duck Soup
5) something to do with iron maybe?
6) The Social Network
7) Sin City
8)
9)
10) Beauty and the Beast (via Molgrips; where's 'beauty' come into it?)
Oh god,
9) is Goldeneye, isn't it.
Found those a lot easier than the first lot posted here.
where's 'beauty' come into it?
mathematical beauty...
Can someone give us a clue? Like what does the diagram mean?
f is function with an input Domain and output Range.... the sets of values which the input/outputs can take.
The dashed line for the range shows it's an "open" set ie. the boundary is not included in it.
Does that help? ๐
If you take the interactive quiz it gives hints on the maths side and the film side... same dingmaths, just different way of doing it.

FWIW, Open Range is an excellent film.

It's a graph, not star topology.
iron cross for number 5?
Luke, I am your interstellar gas cloud.
PS looks like star topology to me.
7 - sin(e) city?
5 - iron cross 2 ( either i agree with barney or it's the sequel)
Cougar:
Euler's identity is considered by many to be remarkable for its mathematical beauty. These three basic arithmetic operations occur exactly once each: addition, multiplication, and exponentiation. The identity also links five fundamental mathematical constants
Think many could have multiple answers.
Cross of Iron instead of Iron Cross ?
8 is the heat equation, so Heat ?
