I'm looking for a history book about famous wars/battles - Little Bighorn, Charge of the light Brigade, WW1 and WW2 ones - so no specific timeframe or location, but the more it includes the better. For an adult not a kid. Any suggestions from the literate members of the forum?

Great book!
Start with anything by Anthony Beevor. Stalingrad is harrowing to put it bluntly. When the German troops are instructed not to shoot dogs when they go on leave because they might just explode you know you're in for a rough ride.Very descriptive and excellently researched.
Thank you, I shall have a look at both of those.
