Looking for a reliable electrician to come and do a few odd jobs that have built up (change a couple of switches to dimmers, shorten a few fittings etc), but also take a look at our shower (which pumps out scolding or freezing water).

Can any one help / recommend?

It will be around half a day (depending on the shower) in the city centre.

Do you pay travel time/mileage?
I'm in Inverness...

http://www.antric.com/

Used them on several jobs and they were probably the best tradesmen that I have dealt with.

Tony is a top bloke and he rides a bike. 😉

I'll give Tony a tinkle.

Murf - sorry bud, no mileage. But would you be able to tell me whether an electrician is the right person for a faulty electric shower, or is that quite a specialised job?

Tony doesn't do Manchester anymore, but he recommended a firm called Livewire, so i'll go with them

I used Tom Gate 07796694573 after recommendations from my local FB group.

Called him out late Sat afternoon and he came at 6pm, didn't have the part he needed in his van but nipped to B&Q and sorted my issue all for £30.

Will use him again when I need anything.
