Hi, im hopefully getting a camper, the seller has agreed to meet us half way we're in cheshire and they are in carlisle, does anyone know of a service station on the M6 about halfway between the two that is accessible to both northbound and southbound traffic? sorry if this is a really silly question - im supposed to be calling the seller this morning and I forgot to ask the hubby before he went to work.

teebay is better as you come of the Motorway at Junction 38 so you can both be on the same "side" - its a less than a Mile from the Motorway iirc

Lancaster only has a footbridge iirc so you are on opposite sides

Tebay is a fair way more than 1/2 way from you but at least you can stock up on expensive tasty food & assuming the camper van has a fridge you can buy plenty of sausages

Teebay (signposted as West Moorland Services) is definitely your best bet as you can drive from one side of the services to the other under the motorway.

You need to do this if you're stopping at their caravan site.

Shouldn't take too long to get there from Cheshire TBH, I've done it myself plenty of times from J16 and once you're past Preston the journey's great.

As said above, the food is great there too. Best service station in the UK.
