[Closed] lunch in bristol - ideally outside

mornin,

just after some ideas for somewhere to grab a late lunch with the mrs today in bristol in the sun somewhere. first thought is the mud dock cafe as i'v not been, open to opinions, not preference on food or surroundings, just somewhere to grab a relaxed lunch and a drink in the sun. any wierd places that no one knows about also welcomed 🙂

my first was also the mud dock cafe, the food doesnt blow you away but it is nice, and it has nice surroundings.

Yep, the barge is good. Don't be giving your money to the Mud Dock...actually, along the river, there are tons of places

The Cottage Inn is always a nice place to sit outside and have food by the water.

Riverstation....just along the water from mud dock. They do three really good courses for £19....amazing food!

Is Riverstation what used to be Severn Shed? Because that place was fantastic but haven't been there in years.

Severnshed is next door, still open for business and serving good food but they always seem to have the music on far too loud.

forgot to check back before i went out....doh...

anyway, ended up at the spy glass on welsh back, despite a large group who turned up just after us, food was really good and job done.

thanks for tips anyway, keep the in mind for next time

I've enjoyed Mud Dock before, but **** do they charge a lot for their cooked breakfast - something like £9 for not much at all...

Mud Dock are a rip off/crap service for ordinary boring menu.

But if you like that kind of thing then go for it.
