A fuller moon makes deep space astro-imaging a pain as it washes out the sky and as I've recently acquired a new electronic focuser I wanted to try that out as well so thought I would give lunar imaging a go.
Fun but very hard to focus accurately as the image on the laptop screen looks like it's being viewed through swirling water. That said for a first attempt I am pretty happy with these.
Gassendi crater - the one with the mountain in the middle is an awesome sight visually and easy to see in even a 'beginner' scope. Bianchi wasn't as well placed however the surrounding cliffs were impressive.
Will keep on honing my skills at this 🙂

Very nice! I keep threatening to get a half decent beginner scope, one day I'll do it lol
*applause*
Just out of interest what telescope and camera. Great shots
@ampthill - for these I used my Meade 10" SCT and an Altair Astro AR0130 mono camera. I usually use it as my guide cam but pressed it into service here. Could be better, particularly the focus and also my mount wasn't tracking quite properly so couldn't get as many frames as I wanted either but for a first go and just to grab a bit of time between the clouds I am pretty pleased 🙂
Also want to try my TMp 105/650 LZOZ and 2x barlow and see how that works out.
Now those are bloody impressive for ground based through atmosphere! What d’you reckon on imaging the lunar landing site? Got to be worth a go, with that resolution, surely?
Wow! I was made up when I saw the ISS pass over last night but this is another level.
