Unfortunately found myself in the melee that is Tesco yesterday and i haven't seen my HTC since. Unsure if it fell out of my pocket or it was nicked.

Didn't have any specific insurance but i guess i could......

1. claim from the household insurance, never had a claim in 7 years, excess is £50 or so but unsure how this will effect my premium going forward, any ideas?

Or

2. Just buy myself a cheapie or second-hand one off the classifieds.

Any other options? your thoughts?

cheers

Are you asking people to advise you on how to commit insurance fraud?

I've have just been through the PITA that is losing your mobile. Mine felll out of my backpack on a night ride last week.

Make sure you call your provider to have the phone locked out.

I've just bought myself a cheap Nokia PAYG.

I@m not making any claims. Can't be arsed. Barclays insist you report it to the police before they'll process a claim!!
