I've lost 2 stone in 8 weeks.
I am on around 1000 cals a day. Eat fruit and raisins during the day, every lunchtime do 50 mins in the gym, 20 mins hard level on the cross trainer, 10 minutes jog to cool down and 20 minutes mixed weight machines at home in evenings it's fish, brown rice, prawns, odd bit of lean chicken veggies etc, no white carbs, little fat.
Got into my target shorts today have bought another pair as my next target. 105kg now looking to get to 90kg by Christmas.
Odd side effect is that I ate a pizza last night (a supposed treat) and hurled it up 10 mins later. Can't seem to eat normal (for me) meals at all...
something about that beard's not right...can't quite put my finger on it.
Psychle, I weighed in at around 16 and half stone 5 weeks ago. Followed someone's advice on bike radar about loosing weight quickly. Basically exercise first thing as this speeds up the metabolism for the day thus burning more, eat FA except the basics and if you have the energy exercise again at night, no carbs after 1pm. No idea if this has any scientific grounding but..
Tried this for a week and ate fat free onken yoghurt for brekkie with peach and melon, same for lunch and a light salad for dinner. Got up early and done a hard hilly mtb ride and most days an easy road ride at night.
Week 1 I lost 11 lbs according to the wii fit, it told me to back off and tbh I felt utterly crud, but thinner. Week 2 I ate a tad more and lost 7 lbs, since then i've lost between 4-6 lbs a week.
I'm sure this isn't healthy and i may inflate like a balloon at xmas but I feel fine so far apart from the odd pang of hunger.
Keep at it. Chicks dig emancipated guys
whadyamean! eh eh eeeeeeh! took me weeks that did!
You know, I reckon I will get below 90kg by the 24th,
That'll slow down I reckon.
Joolsburger - all the experts say that weight loss that rapid with a diet that meagre, you're not doing yourself any favours. Not good for you.

MG I have to say I feel great on it and it's been two months. Feel full of energy, sleeping well and no issues. I want to lose another 30lbs that's 115,000 calories. I don't need to be eating 2000 a day!! I think the danger is putting it back on but I'm happy to chance it.
Oh sorry iDave - no-one's an expert, everything written on the 'net is false and anything I've been told is rubbish. Sorry ๐
(Yes I know it's a controversial and conflicting area of science, hence the wording of my post, and why I didn't wade in saying 'don't do that' - although I should've said 'many' not 'all')
Impressed that you can live on 1000 calories a day. I most definitely can not - at least, not very well at all.
If you own a Turner then sell it, they make you look fat, at least i've never seen a thin person riding one.
Go hiking. Every year I do a long distance trail of about 200 miles and every year I've lost between a half and three quarters of a stone by the time I get home and I'm only eleven stone to begin with. The weight just seems to fall off.
