It makes me so sad to see the same tired old puns trotted out time and again. It's left me feeling distinctly melan-coley.

*Trout to the forum*

If the driver was breathalysed & proved positive I bet he says someone s-pike-ed his drink. Someone will be aLing in a minute to comment.
Maybe some nice looking lass was Pouting at him which diverted his attention? Or scratching his Crabs even? He may get a ban & a massive fine, may have to go to a loan Shark to pay it!

No puns here at all I hope-

I once ended up parked in the lorry hold on the Iceland to Faeroes ferry. Possibly the stinkiest place on Earth. Being woken to move my car at 5:00AM, in rough seas, with rotten fishy slops all over the deck was not my idea of an early morning alarm call. For the inconvenience I was given vouchers for a free breakfast. Roll mops were on offer, I didn't take them up.

I tope the driver is OK! Must be gutted! What is the net load on that lorry? Maybe diver went overboard when he fillet up? Once it was back on it's wheels, did it need towing, or could they limpet home? I'm sure there's a manta sort it one ray or another.

That smell must be a right prawn in the Wrasse for local residents, heard of a similar thing with a lady driver and they tried to sushi.

Lets hope in-shore-rance keeps the business on an even keel and they don't try to wriggle out of it.

I could keep going with Moray, buy I don't want to exceed my quota

An update: If I'm herring things right the driver wasn't speeding and police are floundering for an explanation. Salmon must have seen it and can help with the investigation. The driver is uninjured but may have pulled a mussel.
