Oh Cod no! Not another fish puns thread! Every time, it's the same old pollocks, and my sole really isn't in it any more.
I'm sure the driver did everything he cod to avoid this.
Excellent CF!!
I did try and resist the urge to post but the oppor-tuna-ty was too great. You've let minnow how you feel and I won't do it again.
Schoolboy error by the OP, but eel not be doing it again now he knows we're sick to the gills with fish puns.
The insurance company is going to mullet over but they think the lorry's haddock. It's going be a few squid to fix.
I hake these threads. I start well but invariably flounder towards the end.
Agreed. I tend to skate over it after the first page or so.
Fin.
Ide not want to be the driver. Eel be feeling really saury.
Well it doesn't take a brain stergeon to work out this thread has haddock.
Bang goes his no clams bonus
It makes me so sad to see the same tired old puns trotted out time and again. It's left me feeling distinctly melan-coley.
Bang goes his no clams bonus
HA!
Driver probably fell asleep at the whale
Nah. Probably did it on porpoise
Dolphinately
Maybe he swerved to avoid a motorpike.
His insurance breamiums are going to go through the sealion
The police say this could have happened at any time... Barramundi, as that's the fisherman's day off. What a load of old pollocks!
Don't want to mussel in but this sort of thing can make people crabby.
The lorry rolled on a corner... hmmm... did they over-fillet?
does anemoneone know if the driver is ok?
bruised and battered .
Stealth edit.
I'm not sure of the scale of his in-dory-ies
halibut you a fiver this got the a-tench-ion of his boss
*Trout to the forum*
If the driver was breathalysed & proved positive I bet he says someone s-pike-ed his drink. Someone will be aLing in a minute to comment.
Maybe some nice looking lass was Pouting at him which diverted his attention? Or scratching his Crabs even? He may get a ban & a massive fine, may have to go to a loan Shark to pay it!
No puns here at all I hope-
I once ended up parked in the lorry hold on the Iceland to Faeroes ferry. Possibly the stinkiest place on Earth. Being woken to move my car at 5:00AM, in rough seas, with rotten fishy slops all over the deck was not my idea of an early morning alarm call. For the inconvenience I was given vouchers for a free breakfast. Roll mops were on offer, I didn't take them up.
He might have to dab at any minor injuries.
This Thread is Golden.
Should of kept his eyes on the Roe-d.
You lot aren't koi about talking carp. 😉
It Sashimi couldn't keep control of his vehicle 🙁
I feel sorry for the driver. Eel be feeling sorry for himself by now!
I tope the driver is OK! Must be gutted! What is the net load on that lorry? Maybe diver went overboard when he fillet up? Once it was back on it's wheels, did it need towing, or could they limpet home? I'm sure there's a manta sort it one ray or another.
That smell must be a right prawn in the Wrasse for local residents, heard of a similar thing with a lady driver and they tried to sushi.
Lets hope in-shore-rance keeps the business on an even keel and they don't try to wriggle out of it.
I could keep going with Moray, buy I don't want to exceed my quota
Thanks for letting minnow.
It was an accident whiting to happen.
Stupid basstard
Swordfish! Do I win £5?
These jokes are aprawning and this thread is a load of crab.
Yes, we have spawned a monster, but don't read it if you've haddock 'nuff.
An update: If I'm herring things right the driver wasn't speeding and police are floundering for an explanation. Salmon must have seen it and can help with the investigation. The driver is uninjured but may have pulled a mussel.
I guess he was just having one of those dace
